It's been awhile.
Thanks to everyone who came out to the free last minute secret party.

SHAKE! will be returning sometime in February, at Myoungwolgwan (명월관), Hongdae.
It'll be a 1 year SHAKE! Anniversary!

So Folks, here comes the final SHAKE dance party! The past 3 events have been a blast and we're having one final party before we leave these shores.

To kick off the evening we have 3 live bands before getting into usual night of sweaty chaotic dancing...

Time change!

So the start time is changing...

Myoungwolgwan will be screening the South Korea vs Greece world cup game at 8:30pm. This will be projected and will likely finish at about 10:30pm. So the party will get kicking after the game.

Also for those that don't want to miss out on the USA vs England game, we will be showing it on a TV behind the bar (sound off).

So, here we go.. The next SHAKE! Dance party is going to be NEXT WEEKEND! Saturday June 12th. So come along and cause some mayhem. If you haven't been before check out the map at the bottom of the post...

It's at the same venue, Myoungwolgwan (명월관)in Hongdae, at the same time (10pm - 5am). The last two parties have been a blast. If you can make it, it would great to see you!

SHAKE! Sat 17th April at Myoungwallgwan 명월관, Hongdae

The second SHAKE! dance party is going down on Saturday 17th April at the same venue: Myoungwallgwan (명월관) in Hongdae. The first event was a blast! It packed out, the crowd drank the place dry and the dancefloor got worked hard until 5am. So come again and throw some shapes, cut the rug, shake your moneymakers and all that!

How much is? 5,000 won, that's all! And there will be CHEAP drinks! Last time draft beer was 3,000 won and there were a bunch of happy hour drink offers too.

So if you either don't know, or can't remember how to get there, look at the map below. If the map is too vague for you, simply face the toilet block in Hongdae Park (playground), walk past the men's entrance, down the stairs and keep going straight. Myoungwallgwan is on your right downstairs in a basement. The sign is in Hangeul, so look for this: 명월관

Here's my map of Hongdae park to help you find your way to Myoungwallgwan (명월관).

If the map is too vague for you, simply face the toilet block, walk past the men's entrance, down the stairs and keep going straight. Myoungwallgwan is on your right downstairs in a basement. The sign is in Hangeul, so look for this: 명월관

Party at Myoungwallgwan Hongdae (명월관, 홍대)

Finally we have a venue confirmed!

SHAKE! dance party is going to be held at Myoungwallgwan 명월관 in Hongdae 홍대 on Sat 20th February. The cost is going to be 5,000 won. The drinks are CHEAP! Draft beer is just 3,000 won a pop - and there are going to be some drinks offers too. So it will be a lively night for sure! Get ready to dance your nuts off!

Myeongwolgwan 명월관 is located just behind Hongdae park (about a 1 minute walk). We'll post a map as soon as we have one available.
